hello everybody:

i am facing difficulty in interfacing my serial port. as the XP doesn't give access to its ports, therefore i have downloaded the software porttalk2.2 from beyondlogic.org, but it doesn't work. i have tried many methods but useless. can any one help me in using the porttalk?

Why don't tell us what are trying to accomplish?

Maybe some other freeware/shareware will get you there.

 

Try to use MSComm control. In VB6 one would use the MSComm control, which did a great job. You could still use that in your apps (alsoin .NET apps).
