I am going to run an experiment with an object oscillating vertically above the ground. The ground will be of two type: sandy soil and paved road.
I am interested in the use of an ultrasonic sensor for measuring the distance, continuously in time, between the object and the ground.
My doubts are:
- is it possible to measuring continuosly (in time) the distance between the sensor and the ground with an high signal frequency (output frequency, not wave frequency)?
- is the sensor really able to "see" the ground and its signal not adsorbed from it?
If anyone of you is able to answer me about that questions I will be really grateful.
Thank You.
