Does anyone know how old this family of PLC is? Also, are parts available in the USA? Is there English PC software for programming? Finally does anyone have info on using this plc with the B2803 motion positioning cards?

I worked on this PLC few years back for some hardware & software modifications. I used a dedicated yaskawa programming terminal, which I
hired from the maintenence people. This terminal, looked like a old laptop style, directly hooked upto the PLC using RS232 port. The programming was
bit difficult in terms of its features. I imported a digital card from Japan for some modifications.

I worked for a Japanese Company about 9 years back ago and we used the GL60 Yasakawa. I might even have a few manuals if you are interested. I also used the Laptop looking controller and might have the manual on it. I think it was called the p-150.

Sincerely,

John Holeman
