With over 10 years of experience working as a controls software developer for some of the largest machine builders in North America, Shawn Dietrich has developed strong programming skills in PLC, HMI design, vision systems, and robotics. He is currently working for a global supplier of advanced medical device assembly machines. Previous projects have enabled Shawn to develop technical skills in database development, website design, and machine-to-machine communications. Building on these skills has sparked projects to develop web apps that communicate with machines for data collection purposes and remote monitoring.
