Temperature CONTROL PID
The RKC instrument controller performs the PID control. I have no knowledge of the heaters.

Temperature CONTROL PID
You could also consider using a type K thermocouple, that is 2 wires. If you need more accuracy you could use a type T thermocouple.

Temperature CONTROL PID
Dear Ciaci, You could use a RKC Instrument temperature controller like the RB series. See it incl. its manuals almost halfway this page: https://cascade.net/en/controllers/ This controller has universal temperature sensor inputs and you can attach a Pt100 directly to its inputs. We advise to...

Modbus rtu RS485 leading zeros in communication package
Many years ago I had a similar problem with a very cheap (too cheap I guess) Honeywell frequency invertor in a butchers oven that was used for cooking/baking/smoking sausages. All worked fine until a few years when (at that moment) strange communication failures started to happen. From my...

Some MODBUS RTU Devices not sending a response back to the Master
Could it be the delay before sending? In many modbus interfaces you can adjust the time between receiving a message, and sending a response back. Sometimes this is set default to 0, try 10ms for example and see what happens. It could also be the power driving capability of the driver that...

Shows error in fx5u while trying to use cmd adprw delta vfd el series
or read the manuals, that is how we learned it when we were students. only by solving problems yourself you learn something, not by asking other people. That is copymaster. Search, search and search and you will find the problem. And you will have learned something for life. That is what you...

Are you sure your Mitsubishi Melsec is communicating with Modbus RTU protocol and not the CC-Link protocol?

Modbus gateway RS232 -> TCP/IP
I had a lot of problems using Weintek touchpanels and EasyBuilder. Pro-face with GP-Pro EX is much easier to work with an more reliable. A few months ago a customer of mine also tried using Weintek touchpanels and after struggling for weeks switched over to Pro-face GP4116 touchpanel with GP Pro...

invest in good tools, they will last a lifetime. I still use my Fluke 79 multimeter after almost 30 years of intensive use. It has been all over the world. China copy=bad copy.

Using Voltage and Current Transducer, Want to measure Power and phase angle
You could you a frequency inverter to drive the pump. Most modern frequency inverters have a modbus RTU rs485 port that you can use to read-out these parameters. Or map the measurements on an analog output of the frequency inverter. You can also install a power meter and read out the values...

How to measure very low RPM shaft speed?
I would make it with a digital input in combination with a proximity sensor and some metal knock on the axis that has a certain and defined length. You can also make a vane on the axis and let that pass a photocell. In the PLC you detect the upgoing edge of the digital signal. You start a...

Cable Screens
with 4-20mA DC signals you don't have to worry so much. They are stable and robust. It is DC so connect the screen only on the measurement side (cabinet) and not the sensor.

Cable Screens
O O, I see Siemens and know from experience that Siemens electronics are very sensitive to noise and ground loops. I would drill holes and install EMC cable glands for the screening. If you don't want to do this make sure you don't turn the screening in coils that resist the noise going through...

Best is to use a real control panel with EMC contacts on the plates. If you don't have this contact each plate of the panel well with the earthing with thick cabling. https://www.rittal.com/com-en/products/PG0002SCHRANK1/PGRP5103SCHRANK1/PG0139SCHRANK1 Best is to use EMC cable glands and...

I use a PM16DI modbus RTU RS-485 or TCP ethernet IO module with a digital input set to counter. It can count up to 1kHz with pulses of min 500us. I read the value via the modbus interface. See: https://cascade.net/en/modular-plcs/

MODBUS Server device with relays?
The modbus slave I talked about has a register where you should write the state of the relays in. It is a low power contact, so drive another bigger relay using this contact.
