Auto Synchronization Permissives
Not so sure on 9FA, you need to check your Auto Sync logic, but you usually need Sequence Complete (L3) to be OK to get Auto Sync to run. An Auxiliary pump running at FSNL will stop Sequence Complete from completing (basically the system is trying to be smart and telling you it doesn't want to...

Hydraluic ratchet issue
Have you checked VR-5, the relief valve just after the pump, also check the filters before and after the pump. Looks to me like you have marginal low pressure and may just not have enough pressure to get the forward stroke started.

Diesel Engine Starter Tripping
Can you give some more information, what Alarm are you getting when the diesel trips? It could be low lube pressure on diesel but you should get an alarm. It all is about L4DE, this is the diesel run/trip relay, you need to investigate the logic for this to see why the diesel is tripping...

Frame 5 Not Accelerating During Startup
There have been a few problems with the foot valve for the charge pump, unfortunately that would mean a tank drain.

Clutch Disengages too Early During Startup
Please do realise that the clutch will automatically disengage when the turbine is producing more torque than the starting means. Given your comments on 20TU, I think that you may have a problem with the output from the torque convertor. why did you remove 20TU? this solenoid is controlling...

FSR Split and DLN Split for GE 7FA.05 model Gas Turbine
1) DLN Split is the %age split between Primary and Secondary Fuel when on DLN Premix. This split will control the NOX and Co2 level of the machine and will be set when DLN Tuning is performed. 2) FSR Split - I guess this is a Dual Fuel machine. Simply FSR split is the %age split between...

Gas Turbine Generation Not Increasing
Are you sure that your Liquid Fuel LP supply pressure is OK. If you can increase it, maybe 0.5 Bar, and see if that helps.

Dry Contact and Wet Contact
1)A dry contact is a No Volt contact where the contact is usually used to indicate an event - movement, closure, alarm, etc. 2) A wet contact is contact with power applied, usually used to energize something - solenoid, light, etc.

GE FRAME 5 GT Power
Yes, problems with 33CS can trip the machine, take a look at the logic. I suspect a problem with the clutch limit switch setting. Do you want the clutch to engage when the machine is running?

LP Shaft Locked Trip Alarm
Has anything changed that may be affecting the load on the LP compressor? I wouldn't see any problem in increasing the setting to above 50% to see where the LP will break away.

Re: GE Frame 5 GT Compressor Oil Leakage
Yes, I think you need to take a look at it. It is too close to the possible source of the problem, maybe you have a misplaced gasket or something obstructing the Sealing Air flow. It wouldn't take too long to shut-down and check it but you are also going to need to perform a very good...

Re: GE Frame 5 GT Compressor Oil Leakage
It surely sounds like you have a problem with the No.1 Bearing labyrinth seal or the Sealing Air supply for that bearing. Was anyone working around that area at all ? It is a big problem as the oil will also be passing into and through the compressor and causing a lot of contamination in the...

Frame 5 Not Starting After Fuel Nozzle Replacement
To CSA & Jimbo Yes, I think this is an old machine. Yes, they did make with mechanically atomized nozzles, generally called Group 12 nozzles and, Yes, they had gas purge when on gas fuel. To be honest, these nozzles were a pain in the a*s, but mainly to get them ignited, I haven't...
