I have a system that uses three remote i/o scanners(1747-SN) to communicate with about 100 different profibus readerheads devices and profibus communication adapters. I am having problems when one of the devices faults, it takes too long to track down which device is faulted. the scanner card faults so it knows that one of the nodes isnt being seen. but where can i find that information. i am lost as to how this scanner card gets configured to know what nodes on the line to look for. any help would be appreciated.
