Automation JobSearch are shortlisting candidates for a PLC Programmer opening with IT8 in Austin TX (permanent role).
Primary location: Austin, Texas. Also Arizona, Illinois, Nevada, and California.

You will work on robotic controlled production lines. Design and configure PLC application logic in Studio 5000 for CLX and CompactLogix. Experience with GuardLogix, Kinetix, PowerFlex, and EtherNet IP is a plus.

Requirements include 3yrs exp. in automotive industry (or related), strong Allen Bradley skills, advanced English, and located or able to re-located to TX.

My friend is currently looking for opportunities in the automation field and has experience with PLC. Would this position be open to candidates who have a bit more experience in the field but not necessarily in the automotive industry?
