Heyyyyy out there- I have a Bekum continuous extrusion shuttle blowmolding machine that continues to beat my productivity into oblivion over these "Data Handler Heart Beat Failure" immediate alarms that shut us off. Looking to find out more about them and if others have experience any similar or is my combination of controller just unique to this OEM and I'm stuck steering through that minutia?

 

No experience with blowmolding, but to my knowledge there is no 'standard' for what is monitored for a heartbeat signal/state. It is whatever the developer decided to implement.

So what is the impact of a heartbeat failure that "beats your productivity into oblivion" ?

The HMI shows an option for "ignore System Heartbeat". What happens if you ignore the system heartbeat failure?
