Alarm Classes in Cimplicity - Alarm Rationalisation

Has anybody done any alarm rationalisation against standards such as EEMUA 191 when using Cimplicity?

Typically you are looking at the traditional Low, Medium & High alarms but with Cimplicity it can use a number of Alarm Classes that can replace L,M & H.

Trying to see what others have done - had a table for conversion in retaining classes, or migrated to L,M & H

Yes, alarm rationalization using standards like EEMUA 191 in Cimplicity is possible, though its Alarm Classes offer more flexibility than just Low, Medium, and High. Some organizations retain the existing classes, mapping them to L, M & H for consistency, while others simplify their alarms to align with standard risk-based categorization. It depends on your operational needs and how strictly you want to follow EEMUA 191. Have you considered creating a conversion table to standardize alarm priorities?
