I’m looking into an AC Servo system that is showing an AL009 alarm, and the motor cannot run normally.
The main symptoms are:
- AL009 appears on the Servo Driver
- The motor does not rotate
- Servo ON may not be completed
- The alarm can return after being reset
- In some cases, the problem appears after replacing the motor or driver
From my experience, I would not immediately assume that the Servo Driver is defective.
Some things I would check first are:
1. Verify the exact Servo Motor and Driver models and make sure they are compatible.
2. Check the motor parameters configured in the Servo Driver.
3. Inspect the Motor and Encoder cables for loose connections, damaged wires, or poor contacts.
4. Check the Encoder feedback.
5. Check the motor winding condition and mechanical load.
6. If the motor, cables, and parameters are normal, then investigate the Servo Driver.
