Micrologix 1500 SLC installed with Panelview 300 for the controlling and monitoring, Panelview Display is Password protected for some displays. Now I want to change the Password. How can it is Possible to change the Password?
Do We need to play with Micrologix 1500 SLC by using Rockwell Software or Play with PanelView Software for Password Changing?

The password can be changed in the panelview 300 using allen bradley panelbuilder software.

 

If the passwords are Panelview driven then you will need to use Panelbuilder32, then maybe it is in the Micrologix and the PLC selects the page after entering the password.

 

There are several ways you can implement security in a Panelview. If the PLC is controlling the screen display, then typically the password would be in the PLC and you would look there to change it.

It's also possible to set up security in the panelview itself. Some Panelviews have an online function to allow you to change the password online, others require you to change it in the software and download it. All depends on
which PV model was used and how the original programmer chose to set it up.
