David please contact me on [email protected] to further informations plzNormally the Analog Output Module, AOM, module just works, there are no parameters needed to configure it.
1. Several different option cards share the same slot. Are you sure the module is an analog output module (either 6DR4004-8J or -6J?
2. The AOM card needs data from the positioner electronics module. An internal ribbon cable connects the AOM to the position electronics. Maybe there is no position information being transferred
- internal cable connection disconnected or connected improperly
- positioner has not been initialized and therefore is not communicating to the AO module. Is the positioner still in the "no ini" state?
3. Siemens might have a firmware interlock if a non Ex AOM option card is installed in an Ex positioner. I do not know this for a fact, but Siemens is very safety conscious.
AOM part number 6DR4004-8J is non Ex.
AOM part number 6DR4004-6J is EX.
The positioner is ARCA (similar modelsiemens sp2) , the all parameters are configured but feedback signal not change until the valve variesNormally the Analog Output Module, AOM, module just works, there are no parameters needed to configure it.

I mean that the feedback signal is fixed at 100% despite the control signal change from 0% to 100% and valve move> signal feedback is full different from actual value of valve
> feedback signal not change until the valve varies
It is impossible to know what is actually occurring without details.
1. Can you give some numerical examples of what the position of the valve is, compared to what the feedback signal value is?
For instance:
control signal = closed, 0% open: feedback should be 0%, feedback value is ________
control signal = 25% open: feedback should be 25%, feedback value is ________
control signal = 50% open: feedback should be 50%, feedback value is ________
control signal = 75% open: feedback should be 75%, feedback value is ________
control signal = 100% open: feedback should be 100%, feedback value is ________
2. What is parameter 12.SFCT, Setpoint Function, configured as?

I will try, thank you so much DavidI can only suggest checking to see if the part number on the card matches the hazardous service rating of the positioner and checking to see that the ribbon cable is connected in the right position on AOM card.
