Communication error using modicon controller in virtual environment

Hello,

I am using PL7 pro V4.5 for virtualization purpose. I Connect TSX Premium modicon controller with my PC using UNI Telway driver (v1.1 IE23) and I use USB to Serial converter TSXCUSB485. I am able to download and upload to PLC from my Physical machine, but in Virtual environment I am getting an error saying "Communication Error with PLC". Can you please suggest any work arounds or configuration settings?

Hello,

What VM do you use?

I think you should register the USB device in your virtual environment. For ex. in Oracle VirtualBox you need select the option from menu Devices->USB Devices.
