Communication of Hima F8650x CU with a MODBUS Slave

I have F8650x CUs as a part of H51q Hs system on BMS application. This include ABB flame amplifier units FAU810 which supports MODBUS over RS485 communication. Kindly guide me in establishing communication of two devices using MODBUS.

Ignore the first sentence and start at "Modbus is a project. Congratulations, you're the project engineer!"

The ABB flame sensor is a Modbus slave, substitute it for the word 'drive'.
The HIMA must be a Modbus master, or you won't have a Modbus network.

The warning about different vendor slave devices on the same network does not apply.
