how arc develops in arc furnace, how its control loop works. How arcing is controlled? kidly help as i am new to steel industry. what are the feedback sensors?

 

There's this really wonderful thing available on the same computer that you wrote this question on called an Internet search engine. Using 'arc furnace operations' as the search term in Google, this was the very first link that came up:

There was another link to an article in www.wikipedia.org, which is another really good reference for beginning to understand processes and how they work and how they might be controlled.

<b>After</b> you have exhausted the links available via Google and wikipedia and other references/search engines, if you have specific questions about particular aspects of the process you are interested in, this forum is a great place to ask them.

But, the basics of many processes and their operation and control are widely documented in many places and available for the price of an Internet search.

I have to wonder if Google, in particular, performs searches based on the location of the computer performing the search and customizes them to "local content". If so, is there a way to "genericize" Google, or to change the regionalization tendency, if it exists, to search wider and in other locations?
