I recently join with control valve manufacturing company. can anyone brief about the basic procedure / steps for selection of control valves. Also pls advice the precautions to take while selection of control valves.

Thanks for your reply, in fact in our company, instead of manual calculations, we are using a in-built software in which input will calculate all the requirements on its own. But many error will come while giving input, like trim exit velocity exceed the limit? power problem! stem lift problem! etc. I want to know is there any core-relation. ie For "X" problem, we have change "A" factor and so on. Any thumb rule is there for selection

Pls advice
