Hi everyone,
I’ve been working in industrial automation for 18 years, and I recently launched something I originally started building for a simple reason: I wanted a better engineering toolbox for real field work.
It’s called FieldGain, and it’s now available on Google Play.
105 engineering calculators
Offline-first operation
Calculation history
PDF reporting
️ Built around real industrial field workflows
Over the years, I found myself using different apps, websites, spreadsheets, manuals, and notes for calculations in the field. FieldGain is my attempt to bring many of those everyday engineering tools into one place.
I’m developing it independently while continuing my full-time work in industrial automation, with AI-assisted development throughout the process.
This is only the beginning. I’m also working toward Formula Wizards, smart field checklists, professional knowledge mini-games, and eventually structured troubleshooting/fault-diagnosis tools.
I’m sharing it here because feedback from people who actually work with PLCs, automation, instrumentation, electrical systems, maintenance, commissioning, and field service is extremely valuable to me.
If you try it, I’d especially like to know:
What tool or calculation do you regularly need in the field that FieldGain is currently missing?
Critical feedback is absolutely welcome.
FieldGain — built from the field, for the field.
Google Play:
FieldGain: Teknik Araçlar - Apps on Google Play
Thanks for taking a look.
