In chossing a gas fired heater system, how important are the following considerations:
1. What safety features to ensure in the pilot and main gas fuel lines.
2. What to ensure in the combustion (air/gas ratio) control system?
3. What to look for in the BMS start and shutdown sequence?
4. Perspectives for reducing emissions and heat recovery in the flue gas?
5. What do the applicable NFPA/ANSI standards require for a fired heater installation in terms of determining SIL levels of the various control loops within the heater packege: customers call or the vendor's responsibility? Are there any guidelines as to the SIL levels to be achieved for various loops in a typical BMS?
