We have

Gas Turbine Frame: MS5001P
TG 701 GE Serial No: 281818 (With Speedtronic Mark-II Control System)
TG702 GE Serial No: 281817 (With Mark-V control System)
Capacity: 18 MW each.

We want to replace GCV/SRV valve assembly.
Following data has been taken from the name plate of GCV/SRV Valve Assembly.

GE DWG NO: 899E835G2
SERIAL NO of GCV/SRV Valve Assembly: YF4879RVO (for Gas Turbine 281818)
SERIAL NO of SCV/SRV Valve Assembly: YF4880RVO (for Gas Turbine 281817)

GE representative in Pakistan is unable to quote this complete valve assembly since last year. We have come to know that this model is obsolete but replacement is again not quoted to us. Any GE person reading this mail, plz suggest me way forward. Thanks

Why do I think there is something going on here that the poster is not saying.

Perhaps it would be best if you were a little more forthcoming as to what is actually going on. It will probably be a lot easier to help you that way.

For the frame 7's Woodward has been supplying valves to GE for 10 years now. It is very possible that they have a replacement. You may want to contact them to ID the P/N that can be used.

Dear Adeel,

Have you been able to find a suitable replacement?
If not, please don't hesitate to contact [email protected] for support on suitable Woodward valves for Pakistan.

Kind Regards,
Maarten
