hello

Is there any relation between #3 bearing adjustment and turbine-gen alignment in F9 gas turbine? if we can change or regulate alignment with #3 bearing adjustment?

hello

We have proportional experience in alignment and vibration, but we don't have access to OEM sources.

I need any information about F-9 T-G alignment and #3 bearing (TPGB) adjustment.

please help .

regards,
omid.

Please see the GE TIL 1617 regarding the Exhaust frame slippage, that might be helpful.

My question to Mr CSA is, "where to get the Latest of GE TIL's?"

My answers are, first, GE would be the best place to get them, but I understand that finding the right person in GE to get them from can be rather difficult.... The TILs are supposed to be sent to the owner of record; the problem with that is that they don't always filter down to the people actually running and maintaining the machine. And if ownership changes, GE is usually the last firm to know about it.

Second, you could post your email address here on control.com (use a format like name (at) domain dot [com]; something like that to confuse the spam bots, who seem to keep getting better at discerning true addresses) and ask for a particular TIL and see if someone has an electronic version or a scanned copy they will send you.

Or, if you belong to a "user's group" (most of the Frame sizes have user's groups which are basically free to owners, operators, and maintenance tech's) you might try asking someone there for a copy.

But, to get the most up-to-date version, GE would definitely be the proper source, again, if you can find the right person. I don't think most people in GE know who the right person is for their region, or, if the right person knows who they are. It's just awful these big companies make it so hard for their Customers, and even employees, to find information or provide information.
