Can anyone help with an sample code to write a Linux driver for IEC 1107 protocol over RS485 network? Please, help me also with the RS485 programming. Only in C/C++.

IEC 1107 or EN61107 is a meter reading protocol. What is the meter you gonna use? For example, ABB AEM500 ( or A1500) have a very usefull communication log file in ASCII format? Will it be useful for you? I can send you those telegram log files if helps..
If you can find some commercial DDE or OPC server for this protocol, pls. inform me.

The meter is an 4 quadrant EMH electrometer.
There is no comercial DDE or OPC for this meter,
but I am going to develop one.
