Hello everyone,
I am currently learning about Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and I would like to improve my understanding of the engineering process, especially regarding Schneider Electric solutions.
I am looking for learning materials, books, manuals, or any useful documents related to:
I am especially interested in learning how engineers move from the electrical drawings/schemes to the final SAS configuration, including I/O mapping and IEC 61850 engineering.
Please share any useful resources or advice that can help me build a stronger understanding of SAS engineering.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

I am looking for learning materials, books, manuals, or any useful documents related to:
- SAS architecture and engineering concepts
- IEC 61850 communication and configuration
- Schneider Electric SAS platforms
- Schneider SCE (Substation Configuration Editor) and CET software
- IED configuration, CID/SCD files, datasets, GOOSE, MMS, and related topics
- How to read substation schemes (SLD/control drawings) and extract the required I/O list for SAS engineering
- The workflow of creating an I/O list from protection and control schemes and mapping signals to IEDs/RTUs
