I'd like to do some testing and benchmarking of AS511 encapsulated over Ethernet in realistic situations. I'm looking for a user with at least 1 non-production S5 available, the current-loop cable, and Step5 software. I don't want to borrow anything - just go to a site and spend a few hours (with user assistance) to run my tests/benchmarks. I want to do things like upload/download REALISTIC programs, etc.
In exchange I'll leave an Ethernet-to-RS232 converter with them as "payment" - plus you can pick my brains a bit & get some free site consulting in Ethernet, RS232/485, isolation, etc. The result may become a simple paper, so I'd prefer someone who doesn't mind being named by company or person. I'm based in Orange County CA, but willing to travel any reasonable driving distance. Anyone interested in volenteering, please send me an email directly at [email protected].
