We have MS5001 gas turbine for power generation with mark IV turbine control system. Earlier we don't have any black start inverter. Recently after facing lot problem due to power black out. We have newly procured black start inverter P/N :IC3603A282C of Speedtronic

Pls inform me what are the additional cables & accessories required to connect to existing system.

Just installing an inverter isn't going to make allow a black start, under most situations. Depending on the configuration of the machine (type of hydraulic pump(s), type of control- or trip oil system, etc.) other changes to sequencing are required. Beside the changes required to make the black start inverter operational on its own. And, about the only thing the black start inverter should be powering is the spark plug transformers--that's all it was intended to power, anyway.

Black start, including a black start inverter, is typically an engineered solution, requiring much more than a black start inverter, cables, and accessories. It requires a good understanding of the configuration of the unit, and it's auxiliaries, some sequencing changes, and some wiring changes. It's not just a matter of installing a black start inverter, and off you go!

Dear Sir,

I understand what ever you have mentioned in this reply.

Only my request is what are cables (with part nos) required to take new black start inverter into operation. For example PDM to Black start inverter, Black start inverter to CRT/Ignition transformer, etc.
(Earlier we don't have any black start inverter, that's why GE doesn't supplied any additional cables requried for black start inverter operation. )
