mark v exhaust temperature calculation

I don't know if the originator will get this email, but there are tens of threads on control.com with the exact calculation of exhaust temperature control REFERENCE--which is what TTRXB is, the reference, not the exhaust temperature. Using the 'Search' feature of control.com will yield tens of relevant search listings for exhaust temperature calculation.

I will only add two things. First, TTRXB is commonly, and mistakenly, thought to the Base Load Exhaust Temperature Control Reference. The 'B' means 'biased' Exhaust Temperature Control Reference. Some applications, usually two-shaft machines (most of which are not generator drive applications) require some bias be added for different purposes.

Second, that formula listed in the previous threads is for the basic exhaust temperature control. There can be other biases for power augmentation or wet low NOx injection, or other factors which require can impact exhaust temperature.

Most machines don't use any biasing at all.
