We are trying to interface a Rugid Computer Rug9 PLC to a ABB DCS AC460 Controller through a MVI CI532-VO2 which simulates a Modicon 984.

We use Modbus-RTU on the Rug9. ABB uses Modbus-B (binary). Is this the same thing? We are having difficulty with the ABB understanding the Rug9 Slave. The ABB is polling the Rug9 and the Rug9 replies but the ABB shows error. We are watching the communication messages and see that what comes in and goes out are valid messages.

Any thoughts?
