hello
I have a Micrologix PLC with a connection to a modbus simulator. I am in RS485 so i have a RS485/RS232 converter.
The configuration is in both side:
9600 bps
no parity
No handshaking (485 network)
1 bit stop
The PLC is master and the simulator is slave.
My simulator is mod_RSsim and i see the frame going between the master and the slave. I can write values to the simulator but impossible to read anything (only reading holding register and read/write are at the same addresses). The error code is "Message timed out in local processor " Number 37(hex). So as i can write, i guess that the set-up and wiring is good, but why the reading request is not available?
Could anyone suggest me a solution to this problem it would be very helpful for me.
Thanks for your responses in advance.
