I have been using a Dell workstation with a PCI-85 card in it to access our network of modicon controllers. IT replaced my computer with a new Dell but it requires a low profile card. My PCI-85 edge connector fits in the slot on the mother board but the card is to tall. Does anybody know if a low profile card is available?

A low profile card is not available, but you can use a MB+USB Adapter (TSXCUSBMBP). Ask your Dealer.

We had this same problem and ended up using a single slot PCMCIA port extender with the double slot Modicon Modbus+ PCMCIA card plugged in to it.

 

A new driver has just been released for the USB/MB+ adapter. The original driver was not compatible with the MBX driver used with the PCI-85, but the new one is. If your driver is earlier than 6.0.0 + Update 20070615, you should contact Schneider about getting a free upgrade. You can also contact Cyberlogic at [email protected].
