We are implementing a project where up to 32 Modbus slave devices are looped for RS485. It is observed that at some of the locations the devices are randomly getting hanged, and they need to be restarted. In hanged state the devices do not function but retain the earlier data. We have tried using a terminating resistor, but the problem still persists, any advice? My mail ID bgsrajan at easunreyrolle. net
