I am looking for a suitable servo amplifier to drive Moog 76-262 series servo valves. Could these valves be driven by only a buffer amplifer and PLC?

Try Kollmorgen. They have a variety of drives for servo motors. How many amplifiers do you need?

Check out Triconex M306 Servo amplifier/Controller which options to work out as a servo amplifier or as a servo controller may I Know the application of the Moog servo valve. and what is the command signal to the valve do you have any feedback and if so what type. You can also try Woodward SPC which is soft configurable.
