i have hmi with :
win nt 4 sp 6
cimplicity 8b
tci 1.6
cimbridge 2.7
i can see some data when i write in ms dos : viw0 t1.......

but no data in cimplicity

When did this problem start?

Are you sure about the version of CIMPLICITY you listed (8b)?

What happens when you open one of the TCI applications, such as Logic Forcing (just to look at one or two signals, not for force anything), or one of the Demand (User Defined) Displays? Do you see any live values?

If so, the the HMI is communicating with the Mark V via the StageLink (which is what you seem to be saying when you say you used one of the VIEW tools to see some data). If that's the case, then there's something amiss with the CIMPLICITY project or something has been changed in the unit-specific files that has affected the 'Global Data Dictionary' (UNITDATA.DAT, essentially) and now the CIMPLICITY project and the unit-specific configuration are out of synch.

Were there any recent downloads to the Mark V?

This is pretty classic failure, because CIMPLICITY can't talk directly to the Mark V, it has do so though TCI and CIMBRIDGE, which means that if everything isn't just so, then it doesn't want to work.

Which begs the question: When did this problem start? What was done to the HMI or CIMPLICITY project or some files in the unit-specific directory immediately before this problem began?

Do you have back-ups of a known good configuration for the PC that you can use to restore the HMI?

Tell us about how this HMI has operated in the past, what was done recently to the HMI or to change the unit-specific configuration or the CIMPLICITY project?

 

Yes my cimplicity is 8b.

and i can work with lforce. it's ok with msdos view0. it's ok tci. i configured cimbridge right installed
but no data in screen with workbench
