I wanted to have some information regarding the NEC standard. In the design part, that is when I am making the diagram, I was told that the distances between each device must also be added when completing the technical drawing because otherwise the NEC standard is not respected. It is true? Does the NEC standard require me to also write the distance between devices and their dimensions?

 

You'll need access to a copy of the standard through your customer or employer.

The problem is that this competing company would like us to make the electrical drawings based on what they say, saying that this is how it is used in US, the standard is this

OOOH you mean Atex or not Atex. The automation panel is in a safe aerea, don't worry

You'll have to purchase a copy of the NEC standards, if your customer does already have them.
