I'm trying to use Genesis 32 OPC Client, through Applicom server board, to display information contained in Toshiba EC 321 Multi-Loop Controllers via Modbus RTU. It's not going well.
This is my first time dealing with any of this - in the past I've mostly been involved with stand-alone control systems. On this particular job, we are tying in with a PC to display data pertaining to the process, the data coming from the Toshiba EC321 controllers. We are mostly trying to access Process Variables, such as PV1 through PV6. The reference/register numbers given in the Toshiba Modbus manual are not getting me anywhere, but this is likely to do with my inexperience in this area. Has anyone specifically interfaced an OPC Client with Toshiba's EC321 controllers, and if so, could you give me an example tag?
