Occupational health issue

Hello all,
With due regards to this esteemed forum I want to have a silly information which is related to Occupational health. I have been working in Gas Turbine based CPP ( beginner) where noise is a big issue, around 90db in the GT hall itself and to get rid from the noise issue , I want to purchase a very good ear muff with electronic noise reduction. Can anyone guide me on this please. Regards

It's not clear what you have in mind by silly information - However there are plenty of 'PPE' suppliers of what we call Ear Defenders:

There are earplugs which are foam plugs - but for a Turbine Hall Ear Defenders are the way to go.
As far as I am aware there are no electronic noise reduction versions available; firstly serving no useful purpose as over a certain point of noise reduction, sound enters the skull directly.
And the second with respect to Occupational Health - you would not want to suppress mid-frequency noise in case someone is shouting at you !

Any industrial environment is a dangerous place - many trackside personnel get hit, like when a train is passing them one way and another approaches from the other way..
