i have omron plc with relay output.
but i need pulse output for driving dc motor.
the motor driver i use dc choper.
is that posible to do?
driver is ok when i use transistor output.
when i use relay output...
i don't know whats wrong.

The relay takes much longer to physically switch, so it probably can't keep up with the speed at which you need to pulse. Also, the relay output may wear out sooner than the transistor. Finally the relay, being mechanical, may tend to bounce especially on closing, so you may get more
pulses than you programmed for if the stepper is quick enough to count them.

Despite of all arguments from steve you may still use the same relay output PLC. All you have to do is remove the relays from your PLC and directly connect a wire to take out 24 VDC output. You may use a resistance to drop the voltage signal. Now you will get a 24VDC pulse when you give Pulse command.
