Dear all,

I have written a Vb application and i want to download the Recipe to the PLC. The PLC will normally be ML1400, compactlogix processor. But when the data are exchanged between the PLC to my application programming software there is always a delay in writing the tags in OPC, which generally makes delay for about 4-6 sec between each batched. Is there any standard procedure or steps or methodology for writing the tags between my application software or is there any standard procedure followed for writing the code for recipe management.

 

Are you using RSLinx or another manufacturers OPC Server. It makes a difference in recommending how to possible optimize the process.
