Air operated valves can be opened and closed in automatic mode (by air pressure) or manual mode. A special adjustment ensures that manual operation
does not interfere with pneumatic operation. the manual operator position that allows the valve to be operated entirely in automatic mode is known as the neutral point. maladjustment of the neutral point can cause valves to stick and even leak when they are operating in automatic mode.

whether any one had studied this sort of problem. if so, what are the remidial measures?
