So right now we have a couple 90-30s running Control for the ladder logic and they also have the open process for all the function block logic... I am not too familiar with open process. As far as I know there are utilizing the start stop auto manual blocks in Cimplicity that ties directly to a function block in open process.

So my question i guess is... Is there a way to Tune a PID_ISA block from Cimplicity? I know with the MKVI or an innovation series controller you call specify the black and the point I.E. 3100:IN2
Is there something similar to this in proficy?

Side note: Oddly enough the function blocks there using in open process are Allen Bradley STRTSTOP -Digital Hand/Auto faceplate blocks....
I have never seen this done before for GE controllers.

Yes, you can access the registers of the PID_ISA from CIMPLICITY to tune the block. You'll need to create tags in CIMPLICITY that point to the registers in the PID's 40-word data block where the P, I, and D gains are located.

If you want to discuss further, please contact me off-list.
