Who has some experience with priming a centrifugal pump that requires Manually filling out the Pump case with water to enable the pump pick up prime? what would also be some ways for shutdown protection? what is needed is a way to automate the priming process while also automating the pump START/STOP based on Sump Level

 

For the priming add an automatic air bleed valve on the inlet side of the pump. For shutdown protection you can use a fork level switch on the inlet pipe to detect lack of liquid. For normal start/stop in a sump use a level switch or level sensor.
