I have an electronic dial gauge that outputs its readings through a serial output port. I need to convert these readings to an analog voltage so they can be read into an auxiliary voltage input and then converted back to the dials original reading.
The output format is RS232 db-9 ASCII data. Transmission is 16 character followed by a carriage return and line feed. Dial gauge measures displacement in inches.
