I have an existing SCADA(Wonderware 9.5) which is getting datas from Schnieder PLCs from different stations. We have few new stations(Siemens s7 400) which needs to integrated into the same SCADA.

I'm not able to read PLC through the standard Siemens IO server software. I have read that it requires additional supporting software?? Or is there any alternate option that i have got?

 

Not sure what you mean by 'standard Siemens IO server software'.

S4-400 processors are designed for large system / dual redundant applications and come with dual ethernet ports. So what you need depends upon configuration. For some Dual redundant applications Siemens Redconnect software is useful.

 

For S4-400 processors make that S7-400..
