I want to calculate switch on time of a solenoid, can anybody help me??

 

You have to do transient analysis of a L-R circuit. Go through any book on circuit theory.

 

Two reminders...

1) The typical R-L ciruit for an SOV is non-linear because the inductive component varies as the armature advances.

2) There is a substantial difference between DC and AC.
