Does anyone know or has a good experience with a specific liquid level detector on Performance Heaters for GE Gas Turbine 7FE application? Primary fuel used is natural gas and operating conditions are aprox. 340 degrees F and 450 PSI.

We keep getting false indications with the devices we are currently using.

 

I am guessing the "7FE" is a typo and you really have a "7FA" or (less likely) "7FB". GE has changed the level switches used on the heat exchangers of the gas fuel performance heaters to displacer type devices. I don't recall the manufacturer, but you may want to check with GE.

I don't know how old your equipment is, but the newer devices have been provided on units that have shipped over at least the past 2 years.
