Guys! I am not a Sparky, but now have to wiring for a STAR/DELTA connection in a panel with PLC, programmed by me. My questions are (1)How to wire a star delta connection. (2)Can I use the PLC to delay for Delta switchover or does the safety regulations insist for a timer fixed on the contactor? Appreciate quick response. Abraj.

2) Of course you should use the PLC for switchover
the timing depends on how big is you motor. Remember you use a Y D to reduce Amps.
