Hey Experts, I’m stuck with an issue and need help.
I’m working on a project using PLC S7-1510SP and Siemens WinCC Runtime Advanced, engineered in TIA Portal V20. I’ve set up User Administration in the HMI.
When I run the HMI Runtime directly from TIA Portal, everything works fine, user login works, and it accepts the username/password.
But when I run the HMI from the RT file (default "pdata" folder from the IM directory) or launch it via the WinCC Runtime Advanced application, it doesn't accept any username/password even though I enter the correct ones.
I found something about the import/Export of Username and Password .pwx file related to User Administration, but none of the info helped.
Note: The engineering station and HMI runtime PC are the same, it’s the same PC where I did the engineering with TIA V20.
Can anyone guide me in detail on what I might be missing?
