Antaira Technologies is expanding its industrial PoE portfolio with hardware designed to add power and protect high-speed network connections in demanding environments. The INJ-0201G-bt-AC-100-T PoE++ injector can deliver up to 100 W to powered devices from a standard AC supply, while the new LSP Series provides multi-port surge protection for PoE connections operating at speeds up to 10 GbE. Both products support wide operating temperatures and flexible mounting for industrial, transportation, security, and automation applications.

The new products address two different parts of a PoE installation. The INJ-0201G-bt-AC-100-T adds high-power PoE to an existing non-PoE network, while the LSP Series protects PoE connections from lightning-related surges and other transient voltage events. Both are designed for industrial, transportation, security, and other installations that may operate across a wide temperature range.

Adding 100 W PoE to Existing Networks

The INJ-0201G-bt-AC-100-T serves as an intermediate device between a standard Ethernet switch and the powered device, adding PoE without requiring changes to the existing switch. Its built-in 100 to 240 VAC input allows it to connect directly to an AC source, while power and Gigabit Ethernet data are carried to the device over the same cable.

The injector supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet along with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PoE. Standard 802.3bt operation provides up to 90 W, while Antaira’s Enhanced PoE mode increases output to 100 W. That extra capacity makes it suitable for higher-power equipment such as motorized PTZ cameras, Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points, industrial sensors, and IP speakers.

For existing installations, the injector provides a relatively simple way to add higher-power PoE without replacing a non-PoE switch or running separate power wiring to the device. DIP switches provide PoE mode and dual-powered-device check settings, while the fanless IP30 housing is rated for operation from -40 to +75 °C. The unit can be DIN-rail- or wall-mounted and is also NDAA- and TAA-compliant.

Protecting High-Power, High-Speed PoE Connections

Antaira’s LSP Series is designed to protect PoE equipment from electrical surges, transient voltages, and nearby lightning events without getting in the way of network performance. The lineup includes the two-port LSP-0200X-bt-100-T and four-port LSP-0400X-bt-100-T, giving engineers a choice based on the number of PoE connections to protect.

Both models support 10/100 Mbps and 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps Ethernet, along with up to 100 W PoE++ pass-through per line. Surge protection is rated up to 10 kA, making the series a fit for outdoor access points, security cameras, transportation systems, industrial automation, and other installations where high-speed PoE runs are exposed to electrical disturbances.

Using two- and four-port versions can also reduce the number of separate surge protectors needed in larger installations. The LSP units are IP30-rated, support DIN-rail or wall mounting, and operate from -40 °C to +75 °C, aligning with the environments where the rest of Antaira’s industrial networking hardware is typically used.

Antaira’s new PoE products are designed for industrial networks that require more reliable power. The INJ-0201G-bt-AC-100-T delivers up to 100 W of PoE to existing Ethernet networks via a standard AC connection. At the same time, the LSP Series adds surge protection for high-power connections operating at up to 10 GbE speeds. Both are built for wide-temperature environments, giving engineers practical options for upgrading PoE infrastructure used in automation, security, transportation, and wireless applications.
