XXMIT block - Modbus - PLC to PLC - Master to 1 Salve

I want a Quantum PLC to talk to this Momentum PLC using the Modbus protocol. I found the XXMIT block in our Concept version (v2.2 SR2). The Quantum will be the Master and the Momentum will the slave. Do I need the XXMIT block in both PLCs or just in the Master PLC (Quantum)?

The Help files aren't detailed enough for me to fully understand how the block works.

Would anyone have a sample code of how to program these two PLCs as Master and Slave using the XXMIT block?
