We run a Yokogawa CS3000 DCS, and we consistently receive PER alarms when operating On/Off valves. According to Yokogawa, you can mask this alarm, or adjust the time to which the alarm comes in, but I cannot find where. Has anyone had this issue or know anything about it?

 

PERR alarm occurs when both the limit switch acts on the field. kindly check the field limit switches or the signals coming to DCS. else in the tuning page of the Block, either its SIO-1 or SIO-2 there is a option MTM, try increasing time there
