Bosch Rexroth Reinvents Automation With ctrlX Automation
Rexroth, a Bosch company, has been working to simplifiy automation systems for nearly all industrial platforms.
Meeting the expectations of industry 4.0 standards, ctrlX automation solutions can utilize coding programs like python, Linux, and run g-code programs to run machinery or even manage a facility's shop floor.

Variety of Solutions

CtrlX Automation systems come with 24/7 assistant services given that any issues arise. Less is more with optimization and minimization of hardware to reduce size and system integration times by up to 50%. For already existing systems, ctrlX allows for compatibility by supporting more than 30 interfaces such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, Io-link, OPC UA, and MQTT. The system is excellent for system enhancements, communication, and working with external infrastructures. Analog, digital, or encoding interfaces are also used for easy connection between systems.

Rexroth was the recipient of the 2020 German Innovation Award in the machines and engineering category. Another award received was the 2020 Red Dot award for product design. Rethrox has designed their ctrlX Automation products with fewer parts, hardware, and also designed them to minimize dimensions. Software upgrading is now up to 30% more efficient with a user-friendly interface.
